Explainer Video Smart Quartier by Seven2one for Energy Providers
The “Smart Neighborhood” IT solutions from seven2one manage electricity, heat, mobility and electricity storage in neighborhoods and industrial infrastructures (microgrids) from system optimization to a customer bill for all services. With a central database in the Smart Quartier, municipal utilities build knowledge about their customers, retain sovereignty over their data and can increase customer loyalty with new digital value-added services. The solutions enable end-to-end digital processes from sales to billing and create an OpenData interface for third-party value-added services.
Task
We were commissioned to produce an explanatory video for Seven2One’s Smart Quartier solution, which brings the IT management system closer to the potential target group of energy suppliers and sells it to them.

Challenge
“The B2B customer must ultimately recognize himself as the hero of the energy turnaround”
The difficulty was to show the energy supplier (B2B) in the video the advantages for his end customers (B2C). Logically, the energy supplier must be shown the added value of the IT solution for its end customers, so that it can appear to them as a problem solver, the hero of the energy transition.
