JACOB IT job and career portal
On behalf of the agency KRAFTJUNGS GmbH, we created the job and career portal of JACOB IT, the leading German online retailer for IT and consumer electronics, was conceived, designed and implemented. JACOB IT, headquartered in the technology region of Karlsruhe, has stood for customer orientation, consulting and quality in the field of IT and consumer electronics since 1990.
Task
We worked as head designer and developer in this project, to relaunch a new website for JACOB.
The first thing we did was study the company logo and its colors. Then, we reviewed the company’s mission statement, which helped us determine the tone of voice for this site. After this, we worked with UX-Design technics to get the sitemap and content structure together with the client.
After three weeks of designing, we came up with a user interface design for all necessary pages on the site according to corporate guidelines. We used User Experience tactics to optimize this Pages for user-friendly flow. The end result is a dynamic and attractive Website with helpful information for customers as well as other companies in their industry.
